Design, Art, and Webcraft

I love to design. Anything. I had a chinchilla once, and I saw a design for a spinning disc that they could run on for exercise, and I thought, “that could be even better with a decent set of bearings instead of a bolt!” Design isn’t just physical though.

Design is a state of mind. It’s awareness of the seemingly infinite possibilities buried inside a finite field of subjects. It’s that plus the choice. Choosing to pick an idea and run with it, see what it touches, and what it becomes.

That’s why I’m doing this. I’m tired of having ideas that I can’t build, create, or share. Learning to code is being able to imagine, and then watching it come to life.

Because when design comes to life, we call it something else.
